Phase 1 is complete — Pally is live on Google Play. Here's what's next.

  1. Phase 1 — MVP (Complete)

    Q3–Q4 2025 ✓
    • ✅ Baseline walking/roaming pet overlay.
    • ✅ Sprite library + skins system.
    • ✅ Privacy-first permissions (timed access: camera, location, etc.).
    • ✅ Step-based star rewards (500 steps = 1 star).
    • ✅ Reminders: hydrate, stretch, rest.

  2. Phase 2 — Lifestyle

    Q1–Q2 2026
    • Google Play Billing (in-app purchases).
    • Achievements → Quest system expansion.
    • Messaging foundation (Pally-to-Pally DM).
    • Activity rewards: streaks, step milestones, best-friend skins.
    • Skin packs: animal, elemental, seasonal.

  3. Phase 3 — Community & Events

    Q2–Q3 2026
    • Live events: global step goals, seasonal events, community quests.
    • IRL Pally Calendar: cleanups, group workouts, hikes, volunteering.
    • Partner ecosystem: gyms, stores, coffee → steps = discounts.
    • Effects & Party System (mood/voice/electricity), up to 3 Pallys out.
    • Seasonal events & leaderboards.

  4. Phase 4 — Full Expansion

    Q4 2026+
    • Messaging as social hub: groups & community quests.
    • Emergency & Safety features (panic via Pally).
    • Custom challenges: user-created quests; shared co-op goals.
    • Suggest / make your own Pally skin.
    • AI brain: deeper memory & tone; pets adapt naturally.
